“ATIPAN: A Community-Based Digital Health Strategy for Universal Healthcare in the Philippines”
Session Abstract
The ATIPAN Project is a digital strategy towards providing health services to marginalized and vulnerable communities in Western Visayas. This is a presentation on the telemedicine component in the partner communities, outputs and potential utilization in realizing universal healthcare (UHC) with moving forward strategies for sustainability. It also describes the hindrances and corresponding solutions identified during the project implementation. While regional in nature, the adoption of the ATIPAN model for UHC implementation all over the Philippines could ensure health care delivery in our many underserved areas.
