“The ATIPAN Project”

Innovation Impact Stories (iStories) — Exploring how science, technology, and innovation drive real-world impact.

Session Abstract

The ATIPAN Project is a digital strategy towards providing health services to marginalized and vulnerable communities in Western Visayas. This is a presentation on the telemedicine component in partner communities, outputs, and potential utilization in realizing universal healthcare (UHC), with moving-forward strategies for sustainability.

It also describes the hindrances and corresponding solutions identified during project implementation. While regional in nature, the adoption of the ATIPAN model for UHC implementation across the Philippines could ensure healthcare delivery in our many underserved areas.
