Meet Robert “Rodec” dela Cruz
Robert “Rodec” dela Cruz is the CEO and President of Integrated Parking Solutions, Inc. (iPark). A physicist, an engineer, an entrepreneur, and a naturalist, Rodec has dedicated his career to designing and commercializing technology that solves real-world challenges. Under his leadership, iPark modernizes transit infrastructure with modern, cashless, and contactless parking solutions.
Rodec’s entrepreneurial journey is built on a deep academic foundation from the University of the Philippines Diliman, where he completed his BS in Applied Physics and a Master of Technology Management. Over the past two decades, he has founded four startups, including Tekno Logika Pilipinas, which automated parking systems for major hubs like Gateway Mall and the Araneta Coliseum.
When he is not steering tech startups, he shares his real-world experiences with the next generation as a Senior Lecturer of Science, Technology, and Society I (STS-1) at UP Diliman. When he is not in the boardroom or classroom, Rodec is a dedicated mountaineer and birdwatcher. He chronicles his professional and personal philosophy on his blog, Pilosopong Tasyo on Technopreneurship, where he focuses on his ultimate mission: using technology as a force for sustainability and rural development.
